Chamber Welcomes Five Business Leaders to Board of Directors

The Chamber welcomed five business leaders from a variety of Goleta industries to join the Chamber’s board of 25. The Chamber Board of Directors set the course, mission and policy direction of the area’s largest business association.
Incoming Board Members include Renee Grubb, Village Properties; Donna Lewis, Goleta Union School District; Matt Long, Signature Flight Support; Rich Nahas, Glen Annie Golf Club; and Tony Vallejo, CPA.
The Chamber welcomed new board members and celebrated its Annual Membership Meeting on January 24th at the new Hilton Garden Inn Spyglass Rooftop. The evening celebrated outgoing board members, Dave Clark and Francois DeJohn. The Ambassador of the Year Award was given to Emily Atkins and the Chairman’s Award was given to Marty Plourd.
The Chamber unveiled their five-year strategic plan initiatives: Visitor Services, Old Town Goleta, Economic Development and Community Relations. These new strategic initiatives will be the top priority for the Chamber of Commerce; building upon our existing base of services and programs.
